Perjudian di Karo Digerebek, Polda Sumut Amankan Puluhan Pelaku dan Barang Bukti
Subdit III Jatanras Ditreskrimum Polda Sumut bersama unsur gabungan berhasil mengungkap praktik perjudian di wilayah hukum Polres Tanah Karo.
Dari penggrebekan yang dilakukan pada Senin (8/9/2025) itu, sebanyak 29 orang terduga pelaku diamankan beserta sejumlah barang bukti berupa mesin tembak ikan, peralatan dadu, handphone (HP), dan uang tunai jutaan rupiah.
Kabid Humas Polda Sumut, Kombes Pol Dr Ferry Walintukan mengatakan, penindakan ini dilakukan setelah adanya laporan dari masyarakat terkait aktivitas perjudian di Jalan Letnan Mumah Purba, Kecamatan Kabanjahe, Kabupaten Karo.
“Tim gabungan dipimpin langsung Kasubdit III Jatanras bergerak ke lokasi dan berhasil mengamankan 29 orang yang terdiri dari 22 pria dan 7 wanita, berikut barang bukti yang digunakan dalam praktik perjudian. Seluruhnya sudah dibawa ke Ditreskrimum Polda Sumut untuk proses hukum lebih lanjut,” ujar Kombes Pol Ferry, Selasa (9/9/2025).

Adapun personel gabungan yang terlibat dalam operasi ini berjumlah 42 orang, terdiri dari personel Subdit III Jatanras Ditreskrimum Polda Sumut, Pomdam I/BB, serta Samapta Polda Sumut.
Barang bukti yang berhasil diamankan antara lain 6 unit mesin game judi tembak ikan (Kingdom, Lotus, Akong, dan Merak), 5 chip ikan, 5 unit handphone, 1 buku cek argo, serta uang tunai Rp 2.190.000.

Kemudian, 4 set cadangan pasangan dadu, 1 set tempat dadu, uang tunai Rp 3.720.000, 2 terpal lapak dadu kopiyok, dan 4 unit handphone.
Dalam penggerebekan itu, polisi juga memasang garis polisi di lokasi serta berkoordinasi dengan Satreskrim Polres Tanah Karo untuk pengembangan kasus.
Kombes Pol Ferry menegaskan, Polda Sumut akan terus konsisten dalam menindak segala bentuk praktik perjudian yang meresahkan masyarakat.
“Polda Sumut berkomitmen untuk memberantas segala bentuk perjudian. Kami juga mengajak masyarakat agar berperan aktif memberikan informasi kepada kepolisian bila mengetahui adanya aktivitas serupa di lingkungannya. Keamanan dan ketertiban bersama hanya dapat terwujud melalui sinergi antara aparat dan masyarakat,” tegasnya.
Hingga saat ini, para pelaku masih menjalani pemeriksaan intensif. Polisi juga tengah melakukan upaya pengembangan kasus, penyitaan barang bukti, serta gelar perkara untuk menentukan langkah hukum selanjutnya.
