Tottenham Hotspur berhasil menjuarai Liga Europa 2025 setelah mengalahkan Manchester United dengan skor tipis 1-0 pada laga final yang digelar di Stadion San Mames, Bilbao, Kamis (22/5/2025) dini hari WIB.

Gol tunggal Brennan Johnson di penghujung babak pertama menjadi penentu kemenangan dan mengakhiri puasa trofi Spurs selama 17 tahun.
Gol penentu tercipta melalui situasi tak terduga. Umpan silang Pape Matar Sarr mengenai Luke Shaw dan bola pantul disambar Brennan Johnson, mengecoh Andre Onana.

Mereka gagal finis di zona Eropa dan tak mampu meraih trofi. Manajer Ruben Amorim kini berada dalam sorotan tajam karena gagal mengangkat performa tim di laga-laga besar.
Kemenangan ini menjadi trofi Liga Europa ketiga sepanjang sejarah Tottenham, setelah edisi 1972 dan 1984 (saat masih bernama Piala UEFA).
Prestasi ini membawa semangat baru untuk Spurs di kancah Eropa, sekaligus menandai bahwa klub masih kompetitif meski ditinggal Harry Kane ke Bayern Munich musim lalu.
Musim ini juga menandai momen penting bagi Harry Kane, mantan penyerang utama Spurs.
