Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari upaya Pencegahan, Pemberantasan, Penyalahgunaan, dan Peredaran Gelap Naroktika (P4GN) di wilayah hukum Polres Binjai.
Operasi gabungan yang melibatkan 30 personel TNI-Polri ini membuahkan hasil dengan diamankannya barang bukti berupa puluhan bong atau alat hisap sabu, satu bungkus plastik klip kecil, dan satu pipet skop. Namun, para pelaku yang berada di lokasi kabur sebelum tim ditangkap.
Polisi segera bertindak dengan membongkar dan membakar gubuk-gubuk yang dijadikan tempat penyalahgunaan narkoba dan memastikan lokasi tersebut tidak dapat digunakan kembali.
