Sepanjang 2025, KAI Sumut Berhasil Kembalikan Seluruh Barang Tertinggal Penumpang
PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Divisi Regional I Sumatera Utara menunjukkan integritas tinggi dalam melayani pelanggan. Sepanjang tahun 2025, perusahaan pelat merah ini berhasil mengamankan dan mengembalikan seluruh barang milik penumpang yang tertinggal di area stasiun maupun di dalam rangkaian kereta api.
Pelaksana Tugas (Plt.) Manajer Humas KAI Divre I Sumatera Utara, Anwar Yuli Prastyo, mengungkapkan bahwa total nilai barang yang berhasil diselamatkan mencapai angka yang cukup fantastis.
“Sepanjang tahun 2025, KAI Divre I Sumatera Utara mengamankan 14 laporan barang tertinggal dengan nilai total mencapai Rp40.550.000. Kami pastikan seluruhnya telah kembali ke tangan pemiliknya tanpa kekurangan satu pun,” kata Anwar, Kamis (22/1/2026).
Jenis barang yang tertinggal pun cukup beragam, mulai dari barang elektronik bernilai tinggi seperti gawai (telepon genggam), uang tunai, dokumen pribadi seperti KTP, hingga paket sembako.
Pencapaian pengembalian 100 persen ini menjadi bukti komitmen petugas dalam menjaga kepercayaan masyarakat yang bermobilitas menggunakan kereta api di wilayah Sumatera Utara.

Setiap barang temuan, menurut Anwar, langsung melalui prosedur pelabelan dan penyimpanan di ruang khusus lost and found guna menjamin keamanan hingga pemiliknya datang mengambil.

Bagi pelanggan yang merasa kehilangan atau tertinggal barang, KAI menyediakan kanal pelaporan yang responsif selama 24 jam, mulai dari melapor langsung ke petugas di stasiun terdekat, menghubungi layanan telepon 121, hingga layanan pesan singkat melalui nomor 0811-222-33-121.
“Penumpang cukup menyampaikan ciri-ciri barang secara detail seperti warna, bentuk, maupun merek. Saat pengambilan, pemilik hanya perlu menunjukkan identitas diri dan bukti kepemilikan yang sah,” ucap Anwar.
Meski layanan lost and found berjalan optimal, KAI tetap mengimbau para pelanggan agar selalu waspada dan memeriksa kembali seluruh barang bawaan sebelum turun dari kereta.
