Diduga Lakukan Perkawinan Halangan, Seorang Suami Dilaporkan Istri ke Polres Deli Serdang
Seorang ibu rumah tangga (IRT) berinisial NP 52 tahun, warga Dusun Amal Bakti, Desa Pasar V Kebun Kelapa, Kecamatan Beringin, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, melaporkan suaminya, JS alias Jonly, ke Polres Serdang Bedagai (Sergai).
Laporan atas dugaan tindak pidana perkawinan halangan itu, sedang ditangani Unit Perlindungan Perempuan dan Anak (PPA) Polres Sergai.
Kuasa hukum NP, Abdi Purba SH mengatakan, laporan awal sebenarnya telah disampaikan sejak sebulan lalu melalui pengaduan masyarakat (Dumas), namun baru mendapat tindak lanjut dari kepolisian.
“Laporan klien saya sudah satu bulan yang lalu, tapi baru saat ini ditindaklanjuti oleh Polres Sergai. Saya cukup kecewa terhadap Polres ini,” ujar Abdi, Rabu (14/5/2025).
Ia mengungkapkan, JS yang saat ini bertempat tinggal di Gang Dusun III, Desa Pon, Kecamatan Sei Bamban, Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai ini dilaporkan atas dugaan telah melakukan tindak pidana kawin halangan.
Abdi juga menjelaskan, kliennya yakni NP dan JS telah menikah secara sah pada 4 Mei 2018 di Gereja Pantekosta di Indonesia, yang tercantum dalam Surat Pernikahan No. 005/GJ-HALELUYA/V-018 di Lubuk Pakam.
Surat pernikahan itu diperkuat dengan Kutipan Akta Perkawinan No. 1207KW-19022025-0017 tanggal 19 Februari 2025.

Namun sejak tahun 2023, JS mulai menunjukkan perubahan perilaku. Ia kerap pulang pagi bahkan sering tidak pulang ke rumah.
Puncaknya, pada 1 Desember 2024 sekitar pukul 04.00 WIB, JS pulang dan melakukan tindakan kasar seperti sengaja menendang pintu dan mengumpat dengan kata-kata kasar.
“Hei An****, As*, Buka (pintu) An**** sambil menyebut nama Almarhum Ayah saya,” ucap NP didampingi pengacaranya.
Kanit PPA Polres Sergai Ipda Ardhyka Napitupulu membenarkan bahwa pihaknya telah menerima dan menindaklanjuti laporan kasus dugaan perkawinan halangan tersebut.
“Ia benar, kasus ini sudah kami lakukan penyelidikan” ucapnya.
Terkait keluhan penasehat hukum mengenai lambannya penanganan kasus, Ipda Ardhyka menjelaskan adanya hambatan teknis karena tingginya volume kasus yang ditangani unit PPA.
“Memang saya akui ada hambatan. Karena banyaknya kasus yang kami tangani. Tapi ini pasti kami tindaklanjuti,” tuturnya.
