Dapur Cafe Fortuna di Jalan Iskandar Muda Medan Ludes Terbakar
Kehebohan terjadi di Gedung Plaza Prabot Yafurni Jalan Iskandar Muda, Senin (03/02/2025) siang. Pasalnya, dapur Cafe Fortuna yang berada di dalam gedung mendadak terbakar.
Kuatanyta tiupan angin membuat api dengan cepat melahap seluruh bagian dapur cafe yang berlokasi tak jauh dari rumah dinas Kapolrestabes Medan tersebut.

Menurut Kasi Damkar Medan, Rusli Simbolon, api diduga berasal dari kompor cafe tersebut. Di dapur itu diketahui banyak tabung gas yang dengan cepat tersambar oleh api. “Dugaan sementara dari kompor,” ucapnya di temui di lokasi.
Beruntung para karyawan dengan sigap menyelamatkan diri. Tidak ada korban jiwa maupun luka dalam insiden itu. Kerugian cafe ditaksir hingga Rp50 juta. “Tidak ada korban, hanya material. Seluruh karyawan berhasil keluar,” lanjutnya.
Petugas damkar mengerahkan empat unit armadanya untuk memadamkan api. Hanya butuh waktu 15 menit, api dapat dipadamkan. Hingga kini para karyawan cafe terlihat masih membersihkan puing-puing sisa kebakaran.

“Situasi sudah aman. Armada yang kita turunkan empat unit dan tidak ada kendala yang berarti,” tutupnya.
Sebanyak lima unit mobil pemadam kebakaran dikerahkan untuk menjinakkan si jago merah. Petugas bekerja keras selama hampir satu jam sebelum akhirnya api dapat dikendalikan.
Tidak ada korban jiwa dalam insiden ini, namun kerugian materil diperkirakan mencapai ratusan juta rupiah.
