KSAL kunjungi Perusahaan Rudal BrahMos di India

Kepala Staf Angkatan Laut (KSAL) Laksamana Muhammad Ali melakukan kunjungan ke fasilitas produksi rudal BrahMos di India dalam rangka memperkuat kerja sama pertahanan antara Indonesia dan India. Kunjungan ini menjadi bagian dari upaya TNI Angkatan Laut dalam meningkatkan kapabilitas persenjataan maritim guna menghadapi tantangan keamanan di kawasan.

Selama kunjungannya, KSAL meninjau langsung proses produksi rudal jelajah supersonik BrahMos, yang dikenal memiliki kecepatan dan daya hancur tinggi. Rudal ini telah digunakan oleh berbagai angkatan bersenjata, termasuk Angkatan Laut India, dan menjadi salah satu opsi pertahanan yang menarik bagi Indonesia dalam modernisasi alutsista.

Selain meninjau teknologi pertahanan, pertemuan antara KSAL dan pejabat BrahMos juga membahas potensi kerja sama lebih lanjut, termasuk kemungkinan transfer teknologi dan alih produksi di Indonesia. Langkah ini diharapkan dapat memperkuat kemampuan pertahanan nasional serta meningkatkan industri pertahanan dalam negeri.

Kunjungan ini menegaskan hubungan erat antara Indonesia dan India dalam bidang pertahanan, seiring dengan meningkatnya kerja sama strategis kedua negara dalam menjaga stabilitas dan keamanan di kawasan Indo-Pasifik.

Kepala Staf TNI Angkatan Laut (KSAL) Laksamana TNI Muhammad Ali melakukan kunjungan ke pabrikan Rudal BrahMos di India saat menghadiri undangan kegiatan India Republic Day Parade, Minggu (26/1).

Kepala Dinas Penerangan Angkatan Laut (Kadispenal) Laksamana Pertama I Made Wira Hady Arsanta Wardhana saat dikonfirmasi mengatakan bahwa kunjungan tersebut untuk mempererat hubungan bilateral dan militer antara Indonesia dan India.

Kunjungan ini juga bertepatan dengan peringatan 75 tahun hubungan bilateral Indonesia-India. Hal ini menjadi salah satu alasan kuat dipilihnya Presiden RI sebagai tamu utama,” kata Wira saat dikonfirmasi di Jakarta, Senin.

Selain itu, kunjungan ini juga diharapkan sebagai momentum untuk mempererat kerja sama di bidang militer.

Dalam kunjungannya, Wira mengatakan bahwa KSAL tidak hanya mengunjungi pabrikan Rudal BrahMos, tetapi Weapon and Electronic System Engineering Establishment (WESEE) di New Delhi.

Kunjungan lalu dilanjutkan ke Information Fusion Centre-India Ocean Region (IFC-IOR) yang merupakan pusat keamanan maritim regional yang diselenggarakan oleh Angkatan Laut India.

Dengan adanya kegiatan kunjungan ini, Wira berharap hubungan bilateral antara Indonesia dan India semakin erat.

Ia juga berharap ke depan Indonesia dan India dapat bekerja sama di bidang militer demi memperkuat kekuatan pertahanan masing-masing negara.
