Vandalisme di Kawasan Danau Toba Dikecam, Warga Imbau Pelajar Jaga Kelestarian Alam
Aksi vandalisme berupa coretan cat semprot di jalur wisata Nagori Tambun Raya, Kecamatan Pematang Sidamanik, Kabupaten Simalungun, yang merupakan bagian dari jalan lingkar Danau Toba, disesalkan warga setempat.

Tulisan seperti “SMK 1 Siantar” tampak mencolok di sejumlah titik badan jalan. Aksi coret-coret itu diduga dilakukan oleh pelajar yang baru menyelesaikan ujian akhir sebagai bentuk perayaan kelulusan.
Kepala Dinas Kebudayaan, Pariwisata, dan Ekonomi Kreatif (Disbudparekraf) Kabupaten Simalungun, Fikri Damanik, mengecam keras aksi tersebut. Ia menilai perbuatan itu merusak estetika kawasan wisata unggulan nasional.
“Ini jelas merusak keindahan panorama Danau Toba yang seharusnya kita jaga bersama,” ujar Fikri, Selasa (13/5/2025).
Warga sekitar juga menyampaikan kekecewaannya. Wesli Damanik, salah seorang warga, berharap para pelajar bisa merayakan kelulusan dengan cara yang lebih bijak dan kreatif.
“Jangan mencoret-coret jalan umum. Apalagi ini kawasan wisata, jadi tampak kumuh dan mengganggu kenyamanan pengunjung,” katanya.

Senada, warga lain bernama Dedi mengatakan aksi vandalisme semacam ini kerap terjadi setiap tahun menjelang libur kelulusan. Ia menyebut para pelajar kerap melintasi jalur Sidamanik–Sipolha hingga Parapat usai ujian akhir.
“Kalau hanya lewat sambil menikmati panorama Danau Toba, itu tak masalah. Tapi kalau sampai mencoret jalan, itu mencemari keindahan alam,” ujarnya.

Masyarakat dan pemerintah daerah berharap agar tradisi coret-coret seperti ini tidak lagi terjadi di tahun-tahun mendatang. Pelajar diimbau untuk merayakan kelulusan dengan kegiatan positif yang tidak merusak lingkungan maupun fasilitas umum.
