Tabrakan Beruntun Libatkan 3 Mobil dan 1 Betor di Jalinsum Tebing Tinggi–Batubara

Kecelakaan beruntun terjadi di Jalan Lintas Sumatera (Jalinsum) Tebing Tinggi–Batubara, tepatnya di Desa Paya Pasir, Dusun 6, Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai, Kamis (15/5/2025).

Insiden itu diduga terjadi akibat rem blong pada sebuah truk coltdiesel, sehingga tiga mobil dan satu becak motor (betor) mengalami kerusakan parah. Meski demikian, tidak ada korban jiwa.

Sopir truk coltdiesel dengan nomor polisi BK 8664 NB mengalami patah kaki sebelah kanan karena terjepit badan truk. Identitas sopir masih belum diketahui. Sementara kernet truk hanya mengalami luka ringan.

Mobil lain yang terlibat, termasuk Mitsubishi Expander BK 1673 ABT yang dikemudikan H Yusuf Damanik, serta satu unit truk coltdiesel lain yang lebih dulu diamankan petugas, hanya mengalami kerusakan.

Yusuf dan pengemudi truk lainnya dilaporkan hanya mengalami syok.

Pengendara betor Mega Pro BK 2754 OAI beserta tiga penumpangnya juga mengalami luka ringan dan segera dilarikan ke rumah sakit untuk mendapat perawatan medis.

Akibat kecelakaan tersebut, arus lalu lintas di Jalinsum Tebing Tinggi–Batubara sempat mengalami kemacetan sepanjang 3 kilometer.

Petugas Satlantas Polres Tebing Tinggi, dibantu personel Babinsa, menerapkan sistem buka tutup jalan guna mengurai kemacetan dan menjaga kelancaran lalu lintas.

Menerima laporan dari masyarakat, Unit Laka Lantas Polres Tebing Tinggi langsung turun ke lokasi untuk melakukan olah tempat kejadian perkara (TKP) dan mengumpulkan keterangan dari para saksi di lokasi.

Menurut pengakuan H Yusuf Damanik, sopir mobil Expander, mobilnya saat itu dalam posisi berhenti ketika tiba-tiba ditabrak dari belakang oleh truk coltdiesel. Ia menyebut, sopir truk mengaku rem kendaraannya blong.

Sebagai bagian dari proses penyelidikan, keempat kendaraan yang terlibat dalam kecelakaan beruntun ini langsung diamankan ke kantor Unit Laka Lantas Polres Tebing Tinggi.
