Sat Narkoba Polres Pematangsiantar Ungkap Peredaran Sabu, Pengedar Diamankan di Jalan Bah Tongguran Kanan

Satuan Reserse Narkoba (Satresnarkoba) Polres Pematangsiantar kembali menunjukkan keseriusannya dalam memberantas peredaran narkoba. Seorang pria berinisial RS (24), warga Tombak Sinaga, Desa Parbuluan, Kecamatan Parbuluan, Kabupaten Dairi, ditangkap karena diduga mengedarkan sabu di Jalan Bah Tongguran Kanan, Kelurahan Sigulang Gulang, Kecamatan Siantar Utara, Kota Pematangsiantar pada Jumat (14/3/2025).

Kapolres Pematangsiantar, AKBP Yogen Heroes Baruno, S.H., S.I.K., melalui Kasat Resnarkoba AKP JH. Pardede, S.H., menjelaskan bahwa penangkapan ini berawal dari informasi masyarakat serta laporan yang beredar di media sosial mengenai adanya aktivitas transaksi narkoba di kawasan tersebut.

Menindaklanjuti laporan itu, Tim Opsnal Satresnarkoba segera melakukan penyelidikan. Saat tiba di lokasi, mereka menemukan seorang pria dengan gerak-gerik mencurigakan. Tanpa menunggu lama, petugas langsung mengamankan tersangka dan melakukan penggeledahan. Dari hasil penggeledahan, ditemukan satu kotak rokok berisi empat paket sabu, sementara dua paket sabu lainnya jatuh ke tanah saat penangkapan.

Selain itu, petugas juga menemukan uang tunai sebesar Rp 185.000 di kantong celana tersangka, yang diduga hasil dari penjualan narkoba. Saat diinterogasi, RS mengakui bahwa dirinya memang menjual sabu di kawasan tersebut. Atas pengakuannya, ia langsung dibawa ke ruangan pemeriksaan Satresnarkoba Polres Pematangsiantar untuk proses hukum lebih lanjut.

Kasat Resnarkoba AKP JH. Pardede, S.H., menegaskan bahwa pihaknya akan terus menindak tegas segala bentuk peredaran narkoba di wilayah hukum Polres Pematangsiantar. Tersangka RS kini diamankan dan dijerat dengan Pasal 114 Ayat (1) Subsider Pasal 112 Ayat (1) UU RI No. 35 Tahun 2009 tentang Narkotika, yang mengatur ancaman hukuman bagi pelaku peredaran dan kepemilikan narkotika.
