Petani Kopi di Lampung Tewas Diterkam Harimau, Tubuh Korban Tak Utuh

Seorang petani kopi bernama Zainudin ditemukan tewas akibat diterkam harimau Sumatera di Lampung Barat, Lampung.

Tubuh korban ditemukan dalam kondisi tak utuh setelah tiga hari dinyatakan hilang. Zainudin, yang merupakan warga pendatang asal Kabupaten Purworejo, Jawa Tengah, tercatat sebagai penggarap kebun kopi di kawasan Taman Nasional Bukit Barisan Selatan (TNBBS).

Camat Batu Brak, Ruspel Gultom, mengungkapkan bahwa kejadian tersebut terjadi pada 21 Januari 2025. Warga pertama kali menemukan jasad korban pada sore hari, namun tidak berani mengevakuasinya karena khawatir diserang harimau yang diyakini masih berada di sekitar lokasi.

“Korban ditemukan pada Selasa sore, tapi warga tidak berani mendekat karena harimau masih di sekitar lokasi,” ujar Ruspel, dilansir dari detik Sumbagsel pada Kamis (22/1/2025).

Jasad Zainudin akhirnya berhasil dievakuasi pada Rabu (22/1/2025) pukul 12.10 WIB. Proses evakuasi sempat ditunda pada malam hari karena kekhawatiran akan serangan harimau yang masih berada di sekitar lokasi kejadian.

“Setelah berkoordinasi dengan pihak kecamatan, TNI-Polri, kami memutuskan untuk menunda evakuasi pada malam hari. Baru pada pagi hari, kami melakukan evakuasi,” tambah Ruspel.

Setelah berhasil dievakuasi, jasad Zainudin segera diberangkatkan menuju Pulau Jawa untuk diserahkan kepada keluarga korban.

Peristiwa tragis ini terjadi di Talang Kubu Balak, Dusun Way Lipu, Pekon Kegeringan, Kecamatan Batu Brak, Kabupaten Lampung Barat.

Sebelumnya, Zainudin dilaporkan hilang tiga hari sebelum jasadnya ditemukan, dan diduga menjadi korban serangan harimau Sumatera yang menghantui kawasan tersebut.

Pihak berwenang terus meningkatkan upaya untuk menangani keberadaan harimau tersebut, guna menghindari kejadian serupa di masa depan.
