Pemkab Taput Dorong UMKM Gunakan QRIS, Transaksi Lebih Cepat dan Praktis
Wakil Bupati (Wabup) Tapanuli Utara (Taput) Deni Lumbantoruan mengajak seluruh pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) dapat memanfaatkan penggunaan QRIS untuk mempermudah transaksi.

Hal itu disampaikan Wabup Deni saat menghadiri acara “Kick Off The Journey of Pekan QRIS Nasional 2025” yang dilaksanakan Bank Indonesia Cabang Sibolga di Gedung Sopo Partungkoan, Tarutung, Senin (11/8/2025).
Wakil Bupati Deni melaksanakan uji coba pembayaran secara QRIS sebagai tanda Kick Off The Journey of Pekan QRIS Nasional 2025, sekaligus pemberian secara simbolis barcode QRIS untuk OPD pemangku Pajak dan Retribusi Daerah serta 400 pelaku UMKM yang dilanjutkan pertukaran cenderamata dengan Deputi Kepala Perwakilan Bank Indonesia Sibolga.
Deni menyampaikan sosialisasi ini sangat penting untuk mendorong pelaku UMKM memanfaatkan QRIS karena memudahkan transaksi, menghindari kesalahan perhitungan serta mengurangi risiko kehilangan uang tunai.
“Uang langsung masuk otomatis ke rekening, tidak susah menghitung, tidak takut hilang atau salah memberikan kembalian. QRIS adalah Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard ini merupakan satu hal yang harus kita banggakan,” ujarnya.
Dia juga mengajak para pelaku usaha, termasuk restoran, toko bakmi dan lapo tuak agar mengenal dan menggunakan QRIS.

“Kita maksimalkan penggunaan QRIS di Taput. Memang ada UMKM yang sangat mikro biasanya oppung-oppung yang penjualannya hanya Rp50 ribu atau Rp100 ribu di pajak. Belum semua bisa menggunakan QRIS, tetapi itu tidak masalah. Transformasi juga harus bertahap. Harapan kita bukan hanya memahami tapi kita harus juga mempraktekkan di tempat usaha kita masing-masing. Mari kita jadikan teknologi sebagai sahabat bukan hambatan,” tambahnya.
Wakil Bupati bersama tamu undangan juga melakukan pelepasan ‘Camper Van’ yang akan berangkat ketujuh daerah yaitu Kabupaten Tapanuli Utara, Padanglawas Utara, Padanglawas, Mandailing Natal, Padangsidimpuan, Tapanuli Tengah dan Kota Sibolga untuk berkeliling mensosialisasikan QRIS sekaligus mengenalkan Pekan QRIS Nasional 2025 kepada masyarakat.
Dia juga mengunjungi stand pembayaran pajak Bapenda Taput. Sebagai bentuk apresiasi, Wakil Bupati turut menyerahkan bingkisan minyak goreng kepada masyarakat yang melakukan pembayaran pajak melalui QRIS di lokasi acara.

Pemerintah Kabupaten Taput berharap kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat dalam membayar pajak secara digital, sekaligus mendukung percepatan transformasi transaksi nontunai di daerah.
