Naikkan Penumpang Sembarangan, Belasan Bus AKDP Ditilang di Jamin Ginting
Belasan bus antar kota dalam provinsi (AKDP) ditindak oleh Satuan Lalu Lintas Polrestabes Medan dalam razia yang digelar di Jalan Jamin Ginting pada Minggu (18/5/2025).

Penindakan dilakukan karena bus-bus tersebut kedapatan berhenti dan menaikkan penumpang di lokasi yang tidak semestinya, sehingga berpotensi menyebabkan kemacetan lalu lintas.
Kasat Lantas Polrestabes Medan, AKBP I Made Parwita, mengatakan bahwa seluruh sopir bus yang ditindak melanggar Pasal 287 Ayat (1) Undang-Undang Nomor 22 Tahun 2009 tentang Lalu Lintas dan Angkutan Jalan.
“Setiap orang yang mengemudikan kendaraan bermotor dan melanggar aturan yang dinyatakan melalui rambu lalu lintas sebagaimana dimaksud dalam Pasal 106 ayat (4) huruf a dan b, dipidana dengan kurungan paling lama dua bulan atau denda maksimal Rp500 ribu,” jelasnya, Senin (19/5/2025).

Ia menegaskan bahwa operasi serupa akan terus digelar secara rutin, terutama pada akhir pekan, mengingat tingginya volume kendaraan menuju kawasan wisata Berastagi.

“Razia seperti ini akan rutin kita lakukan setiap akhir pekan karena arus lalu lintas menuju Berastagi biasanya sangat padat,” ujarnya.
Selain melakukan penindakan, pihak Sat Lantas juga mengimbau kepada perusahaan otobus dan para sopir untuk tidak lagi menaikkan maupun menurunkan penumpang di lokasi yang tidak diizinkan.
“Kami harap para pengemudi dan perusahaan bus mematuhi rambu-rambu lalu lintas demi keselamatan bersama dan kelancaran arus lalu lintas,” tutup Parwita.
