Eks Ketua KPU Sumut Ditunjuk Jadi Kepala Perwakilan Ombudsman Sumut

Tahapan seleksi calon Kepala Perwakilan Ombudsman Sumatera Utara (Sumut) telah selesai dilaksanakan. Hasil akhirnya, Herdensi Adnin, mantan Ketua KPU Sumut periode 2018-2023, terpilih sebagai Kepala Perwakilan Ombudsman Sumut yang baru.

Informasi ini diketahui melalui surat pengumuman bernomor 3 Tahun 2025 yang dipublikasikan di laman resmi Ombudsman RI. Surat tersebut ditandatangani oleh Ketua Tim Seleksi, Syahrul Bayan.

“Hasil Penetapan Kepala Perwakilan Ombudsman Republik Indonesia Tahun 2024,” demikian bunyi keterangan dalam surat pengumuman tersebut, yang dilihat pada Jumat (24/1/2025).

Pengumuman tersebut dibuat berdasarkan keputusan rapat pleno Ombudsman RI dengan nomor: 03/ORI-RP/I/2025 tertanggal 20 Januari 2025.

Herdensi Adnin terpilih bersama delapan Kepala Perwakilan Ombudsman lainnya yang tersebar di berbagai daerah di Indonesia.

Herdensi sebelumnya dikenal sebagai Ketua KPU Sumut periode 2018-2023, setelah menjabat sebagai komisioner KPU Kota Medan.

Sebelum pengumuman ini, lima calon Kepala Perwakilan Ombudsman Sumut telah lolos penilaian kompetensi dan kesehatan, yaitu Hendrik Sitanggang, Herdensi Adnin, Mulia Robby Manurung, Nazir Salim Manik, dan Parmonangan Siregar.

Tes lanjutan berupa wawancara dilaksanakan pada 14-16 Januari 2025. Hasilnya, RI menetapkan Herdensi Adnin sebagai Kepala Perwakilan Sumut.

Kursi Kepala Perwakilan Sumut sendiri telah kosong sejak 2023. Posisi terakhir kali diisi oleh Abyadi Siregar, yang menjabat selama dua periode.

Pada 2023, sempat membuka seleksi untuk posisi ini, namun proses tersebut dibatalkan oleh Ketua berdasarkan surat keputusan bernomor R/2878/KP.02/X/2024.

Dengan terpilihnya Herdensi Adnin, diharapkan kursi Kepala Perwakilan Sumut dapat kembali berfungsi optimal dalam memberikan pelayanan kepada masyarakat.
