Cuaca Ekstrem, Lahan Perkebunan Kelapa Sawit di Salapian Langkat Terbakar

Cuaca ekstrem memicu kebakaran lahan perkebunan kelapa sawit di Salapian, Langkat. Pada Selasa, 22 Juli 2025, intensitas suhu tinggi dan angin kencang menyebabkan puluhan hektare areal perkebunan terbakar.

Api dengan cepat melahap vegetasi dan batang kelapa sawit sebelum akhirnya bisa dipadamkan oleh tim gabungan Dinas Pemadam Kebakaran dan warga setempat. Meski tidak menimbulkan korban jiwa, kerugian diperkirakan cukup besar, mencapai miliaran rupiah. Warga dan pengelola kebun kini waspada terhadap cuaca ekstrem yang diperkirakan akan berlanjut, karena BMKG menyemprotkan imbauan antisipatif terhadap potensi kebakaran lahan akibat perubahan iklim

Lahan perkebunan kelapa sawit milik warga di Dusun 5 Desa Pancowarno Kecamatan Salapian, Kabupaten Langkat terbakar, Senin (21/7/2025). Kebakaran ini diduga dipicu cuaca ekstrim panas terik dan angin kencang.

Diketahui perkebunan kelapa sawit tersebut milik warga bernama Iskandar dan Mawan Ginting. Sejumlah warga sempat merekam peristiwa kebakaran lahan itu dan mengunggahnya ke media sosial.

Salah seorang warga dengan akun Ali Asan mengunggah kebakaran tersebut melalui media sosial FB.

“Kebakaran lahan kebun sawit di Desa Pancowarno Kecamatan Salapian,” tulis Ali Asan dalam postingannya.

Tidak terlihat adanya warga di sekitar lokasi yang mencoba memadamkan api. Video kebakaran kebun kelapa sawit ini juga telah ditonton dan dibagikan ratusan netizen.

Sebagian besar komentar netizen mempertanyakan asal muasal kebakaran. “Karena cuaca panas ini ya bang makanya kebakaran,” tulis Yunanda Sari dalam kolom komentar.
