Capaian Positif! Juni 2025, KB Aktif di Porsea Tembus 61 Persen

Kepala Dinas Pengendalian Penduduk dan Keluarga Berencana (PPKB) Kabupaten Toba, Juliwan Hutapea menyampaikan data kependudukan di Kecamatan Porsea berjumlah 4.153 Kepala Keluarga (KK), sementara untuk Perempuan Usia Subur (PUS) sebanyak 1.642 orang.

“Namun tingkat persentase aktif untuk PUS sekitar 61 persen yakni sebanyak 1.002 dari jumlah PUS seluruhnya 1.642 orang,” kata Juliwan, Jumat (11/7/2025).

Disampaikan Juliwan, dari PUS yang aktif ber KB rata-rata menggunakan pil sebanyak 87 orang, suntik 191 orang, kondom 126 orang, implan 198 orang, IUD 54 orang, MOW 342 orang, dan MOP 4 orang.

Juliwan berharap persentase KB aktif di Kecamatan Porsea dapat lebih meningkat di Juni 2025, sehingga angka pertumbuhan dapat terkontrol, demikian juga pemberian asupan gizi kepada anak serta kesehatan ibu.

“Apa jadinya jika jarak antara anak dengan yang satunya tidak lebih dari satu tahun. Tentu akan berdampak terhadap kesehatan ibu dan nutrisi Air Susu Ibu (ASI) terhadap anak akan terganggu,” ujarnya.

Dia juga menerangkan, di Kecamatan Porsea, jumlah Bina Keluarga Balita sebanyak 871 orang, Bina Keluarga Remaja 385 orang, dan Bina Keluarga Lansia 306 orang.

Seperti di Desa Amborgang, Kecamatan Porsea, ternyata persentase KB aktif di Juni 2025 hanya sekitar 45 persen, dengan jumlah 58 orang dari jumlah PUS 130 orang dan jumlah KK 210.

Dari 58 PUS ber KB aktif menggunakan pil sebanyak 1 orang, suntik 10 orang, kondom 1 orang, implan 31 orang, dan MOW 15 orang.

“Rendahnya PUS ber KB aktif menurut sebagian ibu-ibu karena belum terbiasa dan ada rasa malu dalam penggunaanya,” kata Juliwan.
