Tragis! Buruh dari Asahan Gantung Diri di Sungai Limau Mempawah

Warga Dusun Pembangunan Desa Sungai Limau Kecamatan Sungai Kunyit Kabupaten Mempawah Kalimantan Barat dikejutkan dengan kabar ditemukannya seorang pria meninggal gantung diri, Jumat (2/5/2025).

Pria itu kemudian diketahui bernama RI, 28 tahun, warga Kabupaten Asahan Sumatera Utara, yang bekerja sebagai buruan harian sub kontraktor proyek SGAR Kecamatan Sungai Kunyit.

Kisah meninggalnya RI berawal dari kunjungannya ke rumah teman kenalannya, Muchlizar, warga Dusun Pembangunan Desa Sungai Limau untuk menumpang tidur, Kamis (1/5/2025) pukul 24.00 WIB.

Sebelum tidur, RI sempat bercerita kepada Muchlizar tentang keinginannya untuk pulang kampung namun tidak memiliki uang.

RI juga berkeluh kesah mengenai dirinya yang setahun bekerja di perusahaan, namun uang gaji hanya habis untuk bayar kontrakan dan makan minum sehari-hari, sehingga biaya untuk pulang kampung tidak ada.

Kepada Muchlizar, RI mengungkapkan bahwa dirinya sudah menghubungi orang tua di Sumatera Utara. Hanya saja, hingga hari itu belum ada kiriman uang dari orang tua.

Karenanya, RI mengatakan bahwa dirinya malu dan merasa tidak berguna, sampailah mereka akhirnya tertidur.

Esok hari, Jumat (2/5/2025) pukul 05.00 WIB, Muchlizar berpamitan kepada RI karena akan berangkat ke Pontianak untuk mengantar besi rongsokan. Lalu Muchlizar minta RI melanjutkan tidur dan dimintanya bersabar atas cobaan hidup ini.

RI saat itu hanya mengiyakan dan tetap berada di kamar. Muchlizar tanpa firasat apa-apa pun pergi ke Pontianak.

Pada pukul 20.00 WIB, di tengah perjalanan menuju pulang ke Sungai Limau, Muchlizar mendapat telepon dari tetangga. Dikatakan bahwa rumah Muchlizar gelap gulita. Tapi ia mengatakan di dalam rumah ada teman menginap.

Kemudian, pukul 20.30 WIB, Muchlizar tiba di rumahnya dan masuk dari pintu depan. Saat menyalakan lampu, ia memanggil RI, namun tak ada jawaban.

Alangkah terkejutnya Muchlizar saat masuk ke dapur. Ia menemukan RI sudah dalam posisi tergantung dengan tubuh tak bergerak.

Ia langsung melaporkan hal itu ke tetangga dan Ketua RT setempat, serta ke petugas piket Polsek Sungai Kunyit.

Tak lama, Tim Inafis Satreskrim Polres Mempawah dan personel Polsek Sungai Kunyit melakukan olah tempat kejadian perkara.

Akhirnya, pukul 22.00 WIB, jenazah korban dievakuasi ke RSUD dr Rubini Mempawah dengan menggunakan mobil ambulan milik Pemerintah Desa Sungai Limau.

Berdasarkan hasil visum Tim Medis RSUD dr. Rubini Mempawah dengan piket jaga dr. Fitria, diakui bahwa RI meninggal dunia karena gantung diri.

RI diduga sudah meninggal lima jam saat ditemukan dan tidak ada tanda-tanda kekerasan di tubuhnya.
